Enjoyed my time in New York the weekend before last and the beginning of the following week. I went to the Stationery Show for work and had a little bit of fun in between.
Checked out Lilly's new things.
Went overboard at Rifle Paper.
Indulged at a two yummy restaurants in Soho-- Mexican one night and a little more traditional another night.
chocolate goodness.
Also got to check out Tory B's ex-husband's store,
C Wonder. It was pretty fabulous. Fell in love with these ikat plates, but knew with our recent accumulation of wedding gifts I should resist the temptation to purchase them. Plus, Mr. Grace has stated on multiple occasions that we have
way too many dishes, glasses, etc. Which I believe is all a matter of opinion.
We had brunch at
Sarabeth's our last day. It was delicious.
With an afternoon snack of a ginormous chocolate chip & walnut cookie from
Levain's Bakery. I was generous enough to save half of it for my cookie monster at home. Yes, carried it home, through security and all.
Enjoyed Central Park as well.
I thought it was a success for such a brief trip.
